The app may display advertisements and sponsored challenges from partners or third parties. Such content will be clearly identified and labelled as "Sponsored" or "Advertisement" where applicable. Clicking on such content may redirect users to third-party websites or services. Climate Crusaders does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, or availability of such third-party destinations. However, Climate Crusaders aims to collaborate with environmentally responsible and sustainability-focused brands whose values align with the mission of the platform.
Carbon savings, carbon footprint values, and environmental impact figures shown in the app are estimates based on commonly used emission factors and simplified assumptions. Actual results may vary depending on individual behaviour, location, technology, and real-world conditions. These figures are provided for educational and motivational purposes and should not be treated as precise scientific measurements.
The app may display previews, summaries, thumbnails, headlines, and links of third-party content such as sustainability articles, news, and videos sourced from publicly available websites to help users learn about environmental issues and sustainable living in one place. Users are redirected to the original publisher when accessing full content. We do not claim ownership of any third-party content displayed within the app.
Data is stored on AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai, ap-south-1). Security measures include:

Minimum registration age is 13 years. We do not knowingly collect data from children below 13. Under the DPDP Act, processing data of children (below 18) requires verifiable parental consent. The Platform does not process children’s data for advertising or behavioural monitoring.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BlueTerrain LLP, owner and operator of Climate Crusaders. By downloading, installing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Participate by submitting proof of completion (photos, videos, text). Submissions are subject to manual, AI-based, or hybrid verification. Points are awarded upon successful verification.
A daily featured challenge with additional points and limited slots on a first-come, first-served basis.
Points earned in the app may be redeemed for tree plantation contributions or for discount coupons offered by partner organizations. Discount coupons can only be redeemed on the partner's website or platform and cannot be used for purchases within the app. Points have no monetary or cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. Partner coupons, discounts, may be subject to separate terms, availability limits, expiry dates, and redemption conditions determined by the relevant partner.
Referral points are awarded when referred users complete qualifying activities. Abuse (fake accounts, self-referrals) results in forfeiture and potential account termination.
Users may apply or be nominated for Green Ambassador designation. The Company reserves the right to grant or revoke this status at its discretion.
All content must be truthful, original, appropriate for a 13+ audience, and must not infringe third-party rights. You shall not post obscene, defamatory, hateful, or illegal content. You shall not:
The Platform and all original content created by the Company are the intellectual property of BlueTerrain LLP, protected under the Copyright Act 1957 and Trade Marks Act 1999. By posting content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your content for platform operations. You retain ownership of your original content.
The Company does not endorse or guarantee products, services, or claims of any third-party sponsor. Discount coupons and rewards from partners are subject to the respective partner’s terms. The Company acts as an intermediary and is not liable for quality, delivery, or fulfillment of partner rewards.
The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The Company’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the value of points in your account, whichever is lower. Environmental impact figures are estimates and not guaranteed for accuracy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraudulent behavior, 12 months of inactivity, or legal requirements. You may terminate at any time via Settings → Delete Account. All accumulated points and rewards will be forfeited upon termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved through: (1) amicable negotiation (30 days), then (2) mediation (Indian Council of Arbitration), then (3) arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. You may also file a consumer complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Only anonymized, aggregate data is shared with sponsors and partners (participation counts, campaign metrics, event attendance numbers).
We share limited, non-personal user identifiers with campaign partners solely for the purpose of coupon redemption verification and campaign performance reporting. We do not share your email address, phone number, full name, or precise location with any advertiser or partner. All advertisement engagement tracking (clicks, impressions) is handled internally and is not shared with third parties.
We maintain records of: date/time of consent, method of consent, version of Terms and Privacy Policy agreed to, and consent withdrawal date (if applicable). Records retained for active accounts for the duration of activity, and for up to 3 years after deletion for legal compliance.
