Climate Crusaders ("Platform") is operated by Taniya Mohanta. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile application, website, and related services.
This policy complies with: IT Act 2000, SPDI Rules 2011, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Consumer Protection Act 2019, and Indian Contract Act 1872.

Minimum registration age is 13 years. We do not knowingly collect data from children below 13. Under the DPDP Act, processing data of children (below 18) requires verifiable parental consent. The Platform does not process children's data for advertising or behavioural monitoring.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Taniya Mohanta, owner and operator of Climate Crusaders. By downloading, installing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Governed by: Indian Contract Act 1872, IT Act 2000, Consumer Protection Act 2019, DPDP Act 2023, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.
Participate by submitting proof of completion (photos, videos, text). Submissions are subject to manual, AI-based, or hybrid verification. Points are awarded upon successful verification.
A daily featured challenge with additional points and limited slots on a first-come, first-served basis.
Points can be redeemed for tree plantations, NGO donations, discount coupons, and eco-products. Points have no monetary or cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
Referral points are awarded when referred users complete qualifying activities. Abuse (fake accounts, self-referrals) results in forfeiture and potential account termination.
Users may apply or be nominated for Green Ambassador designation. The Company reserves the right to grant or revoke this status at its discretion.
All content must be truthful, original, appropriate for a 13+ audience, and must not infringe third-party rights. You shall not post obscene, defamatory, hateful, or illegal content. You shall not:
The Platform and all original content created by the Company are the intellectual property of Taniya Mohanta, protected under the Copyright Act 1957 and Trade Marks Act 1999. By posting content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your content for platform operations. You retain ownership of your original content.
The Company does not endorse or guarantee products, services, or claims of any third-party sponsor. Discount coupons and rewards from partners are subject to the respective partner's terms. The Company acts as an intermediary and is not liable for quality, delivery, or fulfillment of partner rewards.
The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The Company's total liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the value of points in your account, whichever is lower. Environmental impact figures are estimates and not guaranteed for accuracy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraudulent behavior, 12 months of inactivity, or legal requirements. You may terminate at any time via Settings → Delete Account. All accumulated points and rewards will be forfeited upon termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved through: (1) amicable negotiation (30 days), then (2) mediation (Indian Council of Arbitration), then (3) arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. You may also file a consumer complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

At registration, users must actively check a consent checkbox confirming agreement to the Terms and Privacy Policy. Registration cannot proceed without this consent. Timestamp and method of consent are recorded.

Device permissions can be revoked at any time via your device Settings: iOS → Settings → Climate Crusaders | Android → Settings → Apps → Climate Crusaders → Permissions.
Under Section 6(4) of the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time:

Only anonymized, aggregate data is shared with sponsors and partners (participation counts, campaign metrics, event attendance numbers).
We maintain records of: date/time of consent, method of consent, version of Terms and Privacy Policy agreed to, and consent withdrawal date (if applicable). Records retained for active accounts for the duration of activity, and for up to 3 years after deletion for legal compliance.
